I saw a few from the list that are offered by faithlife. Just curious.

Did you see any of the books Eerdmans have on sale available on Faithlife eBooks or only the Logos site? Logos wouldn't match. I did pick up 2 very expensive books though at the sale price in my second choice Bible software and 1 in Kindle. The prices were just too good and those 3 books are in Logos, so no chance of picking them up at those prices unless they're ever in the free book of the month offer.

Any particular recommendations from anyone?
I picked up:
Paul and the Gift
Discovering Romans
Stories with Intent
Would have preferred in Faithlife though.

Stories with Intent is a good one to have. I grabbed Jesus and the eyewitnesses
Nijay had a post on this too

I wondered about that one - along with Apostle of the Crucified Lord. I think if they were available in my second choice Bible software at the sale price, I would have bought them. I'm just not convinced I'll benefit from them as Kindle books.

Yeah don't get me wrong... Logos is always better but I grabbed the eyewitnesses one just in case I see it referenced somewhere... now I can look up the source. It is also the first edition which it makes it slightly less valuable.

Done!! Not bad for $3.74. Never heard of the book or author, but always happy for a recommendation. As it was available in my second choice Bible software (along with Easter 25% discount too) it seems worth investigating. Plus they have 30 day money back too. Thanks.
Sorry Faithlife. Would rather buy from you!

Yes, I saw a few matching titles on ebooks.faithlife.com, so I decided to post here in Faithlife Ebooks to see.
All of the comments have been helpful. I'll go back to Eerdmans and look again.

The other 3 books I picked up in previous Eerdmans eBook sales were:
God's Saving Grace: A Pauline Theology
Inspired: The Holy Spirit and the Mind of Faith
A Shorter Guide to the Holy Spirit: Bible, Doctrine, Experience

Bought "Crucifixion: Understanding the Death of Jesus Christ" too.
Only had to buy Stories with Intent in Kindle.
Not sure when I'll get to read them, but all have plenty of good reviews and the prices were too good to pass up. They had all been in my Logos wishlist too, apart from Kevin's recommendation.

Eerdmans have a monthly Kindle sale, so Logos never participate. It's possible if one if the books is in Faithlife eBooks that they might, but I've never spotted one yet.

Thank you!

Logos isn't participating in the sale? Is that official?
The general rule is that Logos Edition resources aren't eligible for ebook sales. The contracts are structured differently.
With that said, there have been some unusual exceptions in the past year... but mostly with Zondervan (IIRC).

Apparently Eerdmans have made the sale available to Faithlife eBooks, although I haven't spotted any on sale yet. That said the books I really wanted are on the Logos site.
I'd be interested to know if anyone spots any gems on sale at Faithlife.

For anyone wanting more church history, the one on the north Africa church in Roman times is excellent. Usually, there's much on Asia, Palestine, Syria, and Egypt-Ethiopia, but not much on northern Africa and early Europe. Logos has it, but hefty, hefty. Need this sale.

I picked up this one for general reading:

The TOC has an impressive list of names.

On Friday, we processed the promotions from Eerdmans. We can only discount the Eerdmans sale books that are on Ebooks. Logos contracts with Eerdmans are separate from Ebooks so books on Logos are NOT on sale. When I processed the list, I saw quite a few that are currently on sale on the Ebooks site. Hope you find books to enjoy!! Happy Easter!

It looks like the books may have simply had a price change and therefore not show with a discount. So it may help to view them sorted by price rather than discount. This link may help:

Brant Pitre's Jesus and the Last Supper.
Kevin. Thanks for the suggestion. Chapter 4 (The Date of the Last Supper) was great. Great insights into understanding how Passover has a broader meaning than just the sacrifice or meal and so all four Gospel accounts don't contradict one another at all on the date of the crucifixion or thetype of meal being celebrated. (Spoiler: it was the Passover meal at The Last Supper.)

Happy to recommend Pitre's work. He also wrote the chapter on "The Last Supper and New Creation" in this volume https://verbum.com/product/176187/paul-a-new-covenant-jew-rethinking-pauline-theology An equally worthwhile read.

Kevin. What do you like about this book in particular? It's on sale this month for $9.99.
