If you look at the "<author name>: A guide to his life and writings" series, you will see that it encourages the reader to look at the author from the perspective of Preaching Themes (quotations, index, notable contributions ...). For the more modern authors, this works quite well. For the early church fathers, trying to stuff 4th century theology into 20th century categories is amusing more than helpful for those of us who are not native thinkers of 20th century evangelical theology. Therefore, to get the same usefulness, we need to step back and consider the Lexham Survey of Theology categories or the Catholic Topical Index categories. This means I want to be able to access that data by author/work. I can do this with a search of the Catholic Topical Index. I am stymied by the LST cross-reference. Please allow access to the Systematic Theology Cross-Reference by author and preferable even by work.
