creating a bibliography

I am working on a paper. I don't need to do a bibliography for this paper, but it did make me think about having one.
The easiest way it seems to me for Logos to create a bibliography would be take all my footnotes and reformat them.
I vaguely remember the tutorial. It made one out of open resources. But if I'm doing a paper over weeks, what's the easiest way to add resources to one?

Select some text in the target resource and use the Add menu. If memory serves—for journal articles, you need to select the entire article, but I could be wrong on that. Haven't done a bibliography recently.
