Change account email
If I change the email address associated with my Faithlife account, I understand that I will need to log on to the Logos program with this new email address.
My question is, will Logos create a duplicate set of resources on my computer or will it use the resources associated with the old email address?

Harry,I believe if you change your email it establishes a whole new account. It does not duplicate your resources associated with your old email. There may be a way for Logos to transfer your resources to your new email, but I think you will need to discuss this with Customer Service.
Meanwhile, Jesus kept on growing wiser and more mature, and in favor with God and his fellow man.

I recently changed my email and the program used the resources associated with the old email address. I did not have to download anything new nor reindex.

If you change your email address, it simply means that from henceforth you will log into Logos using that updated email address instead of the original one.
Doing this will not create a duplicate set of resources or a new account.
It will reset your Forum post count to zero. You will need to reach out to Customer Service if you want that corrected.

You can ask Customer Service to combine those two accounts using the B address.

So they don't match automatically?

I haven't actually tried that, but I assume not - how would the system be able to check that both accounts are in fact the same person? I assume when you try to change the email address on the one account to the one already being used on the other account, the system will tell you that that address is already taken by an account.
