In my library, sorted by author, I find both "Bellarmine, Robert" and "Bellarmino, Roberto Francesco Romolo". These are the same person--a great Doctor of the Church. Was this intentional?

No, and I seem to remember this case having been discussed once before.

It's an oversight that comes from the fact that publishers use inconsistent names and Faithlife usually sticks with them or applies some (known as faulty) logic to match authors to their internal database. It seems especially difficult to fix such things on product pages, while KYLE might be able to fix Logos edition master data rather quickly. There was the claim that they have an internal project to clear this whole mess up.
