Hello, everyone!
Now that the March Matchup went overtime, Logos has this item on sale:
https://www.logos.com/product/183828/zondervan-counterpoints-series
Logos also has this item on sale in the July Monthly (IVP US) Publisher Spotlight:
https://www.logos.com/product/166147/spectrum-multiview-series
Both the Zondervan Counterpoint Series and the IVP Spectrum Multiview Series seem to have a similar kind of method: “Five views/four views/three views etc. on a named theological or philosophical topic…”
SMS seems to have 21 vols., ZCS has 35 vols. SMS is cheaper, ZCS costs a bit more.
Already looked at the older threads, and in one of them (https://community.logos.com/forums/t/44175.aspx) Dennis Parish wrote: “The IVP seems to address a wide range of opinions, while the Zondervan addresses opinions mainly within the evangelical community.”
My questions to you: Are they of equal quality (generally speaking) in your opinion? How about the comprehensiveness of each series and/or volume you have read (besides the quantity of individual vols.)? Which do you prefer? If you had to choose between these two, which would you buy? Why?
Already appreciate your input!
