Resources locked?
Hello,
I am a new user to FSB through iOS and sometimes I see links to additional content that I would like to study but are locked. Whenever I try to access these I get an error message saying it’s not part of my library. Ok. But how do I find these in the app’s store? I can’t seem to find any and there’s not much description as per the example below in red.

Those two resources are: IVP Dictionary of the Old Testament: Pentateuch and Eerdmans Dictionary of the Bible.
I owned one already, but I had to Google the other one. There should be a better way in the mobile app of identifying resources that you don't own.

Adding to Levi, the store on the app is limited .... I assume to limit paying Apple/Google. But once you can see the titles,
has the full store. But buying 'straight' without a sale, can be pricey. We Logosians concentrate on packages, collections, and sales.
After you buy, in the larger store, your purchase is automatically displayed in your app's library ... read on-line, or download.

Thank you for the help!
It is my impression as well that the mobile FSB should link to the original resource or at least reference a name or author so we don't need to go back and forth to Google, website store, etc.
About the packages - I'm new, so I haven't gone through many purchases, but it would be interesting to see packages

You could always open them on app.logos.com This is the Logos web app.
There it will show you a picture on the book or resource and even a link that will give you a small preview and of opportunity to purchase it.

Base packages are shown at https://www.logos.com/basepackages
But if there are particular types of resources that interest you, please let us know and we may be able to make some suggestions

Here's the packages:
And specialized expansions:
Usually, the best time to buy, is during a major software update (Logos9), when there are significant discounts. We don't know 'when', but judging from traditional clues, likely late-August or so. So, you might explore, but wait for Logos9 (the actual software update is free).
Edit: Just saw Graham's post. The above link may be easier to navigate.

Near the bottom of the page is Minimal Updates that includes Logos 8 Fundamentals, which may have special pricing. Purchasing Logos 8 Fundamentals first will cause dynamic price reductions for other Logos 8 Base Packages. Dynamic pricing price reflects what is new to you (so not paying again for resources already owned: permanent license)
FYI: my demonstration account has an order total of $ 0.00 that includes a free gift of Logos 7 Fundamentals (from a Logos 8 Upgrade) followed by a Faithlife coupon that "paid" special Logos 8 Fundamentals price. Logos Wiki has => Free Logos Books !!
Keep Smiling [:)]
