Let's say from the main page I enter a verse from the ESV and I want to compare it with all of the bibles in my library. How do I do that?
Also, how do I "click and drag" this function (the icon) to the "shortcuts" area of the main page.
Hi
When the ESV is open at the verse you want, then open the Text Comparison tool (from the Tool Menu) and enter "ESV, Full Library" into the Bible selection box as below (I have floated the window so it is easier to see)
If you want to have a reduced set of Bibles then you can create a collection with the ones you want and carry out the comparison against that.
You can drag the tab to the shortcut bar so that the Text Comparison tool is easily available but it won't - as far as I can see - keep the set of books, these will need to be entered again.
Does this help?
Graham
You can drag the (any) item from the Tools menu!

Graham I wonder if what you did not mention is that you created a Collection called "Full Library"? I have only gotten this to work with Collections (I have a collection of all bibles called "Collection of All Bibles" and what you did works for me that way. If I type in "Full Library" it just ignores it.
Or did you do something else to get that to work?
Hi Dominick.
You are right - apologies.
I did create a collection called "Full Library" some time ago (I don't remember exactly why now) and just assumed that it was a "standard thing" when looking at this question.
I believe you are right that you need a collection to do what I described.
Sorry for any confusion.
