Prioritizing Commentaries

This is almost a spin off of the "Favorite Commentaries" discussion at: http://community.logos.com/forums/p/9831/77794.aspx#77794

I would like to take it a step further though. At this time, I don't have and can't afford a lot of the multi-volume commentaries mentioned in the above thread. I am curious as to how you would/do prioritize your commentaries if you have/only had Scholar's edition and only use the commentaries that are available in it. I have a couple that I have bought extra (for specific epistles and books) but want to optimize and use my library with commentaries that are a part of the Scholar's package as well. Admittedly, with the exception of my first choice, I have prioritized a few with no methodical rhyme, reason or knowledge of why I put them in the order that I did.

So in short, if you don't mind me dwelling in your business, if you just had Scholar's, what would your prioritization look like for your commentaries?

(1) Bible Knowledge Commentary (dispensational, which happens to be my theological bent)

(2) Word Pictures in the New Testament by A.T. Robertson (its a useful commentary on the Greek NT by a Greek scholar)

(3) Word Studies in the Greek New Testament, by Kenneth S. Wuest (its really a commentary on the Greek NT, but does not cover the entire NT)

(4) Bible Exposition commentary 23 vol.

(5) Opening Up Commentary Collection (kind of a Bible study guide)

(6) Commentary Critical and Explanatory on the Whole Bible, by Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown

(7) Word Studies in the New Testament, by Marvin R. Vincent (4
Vols.)

(8) Holman Concise Bible Commentary

(9) Commentary on the Bible, by Matthew Henry

(10) Life of Christ (3 Vols.)

(11) The Teacher’s Bible Commentary

(12) Teacher’s Commentary

For a dictionary, the Holman Illustrated Bible Dictionary is relatively new and quite useful to me.

One final question, how do you put the 23 volume Bible Exposition Commentary onto your prioritization list? Simply drag each book over? I have read somewhere that you really don't want a ton of each type of book on your priority list. Is it okay in this case since only the appropriate book will be displayed depending on the passage that you are studying.

Edit #2: Wow! I have completed all suggestions and never had the great set up for commentaries that this provided! I always thought that putting a 30 volume commentary on your priority list would really clutter things up but lesson learned, Logos keeps them all neat and tidy by combining them on the list and simply displaying the commentary name and number of volumes automatically opening the one you need.

Thanks for the suggestion here as well. I think that I got these from purchasing eBible (my first ever Libronix/Logos ppurchase). It wasn't until later that I truly discovered Logos' Leader's library and then could not resist the Scholar's upgrade when Logos 4 was released late last year. Even though I am just a layperson with no higher education, the resources are awesome to use!

No need for the red face. We all needed to learn at some point. Actually, you should only need to drag a single volume of a series in order to prioritize the entire series.

Actually, if you drag just one it will prioritize that series (assuming the metadata is correct etc). If you hold ctrl as you drag a book onto the priority list only that one will be prioritized.
