Sermons not updating on IOS, just transferred in Wordsearch Bible buyout
I'm working on learning about the Logos software, having been made a customer on a buyout and I'm learning a lot of new things and liking most of them. Clunkier in doing searches and copy scripture into Word, but a lot of other good tradeoffs.
My problem right now is that I've written some sermons already and now can get them sync on my ipad (version 14). It has completed the sync and it doesn't work. Also, it will not update my prayer requests (I like to do my devotions on the ipad now). My highlights update to my desktop from the iPad almost immediately.
Any help is appreciated.

Were the sermons in wordsearch? or written in Logos?

They are in Logos only, trying it out the sermon editor on the Logos software, but hope to preach from the iPad

Are you getting anything syncing from desktop to iPad - such as highlights?
Do you have a Sermons menu item on the iPad?

I just tried, then pressed sync on desktop after highlighting, and then sync on iPad, It has been spinning 10 minutes without seeing the highlight or sermons (I only have four sermons right now)

That suggests it is trying to download / sync a lot of data
Have you downloaded a lot of books to the iPad?
What happens if you leave it until the sync indicator stops turning?

Graham - it used to be true that it was unwise to download the full library to the tablet/phone. Is that still the case? I remember being told that once - though it may have been because of my title count. I don't recall.It has been spinning 10 minutes

It has stopped before. No, I only have the Faithlife study bible and a Bible for the books for now.

Graham - it used to be true that it was unwise to download the full library to the tablet/phone. Is that still the case?
Faithlife have made some changes and are no longer advising against downloading the full library.
However, if someone needs to reinstall the app the more resources that are downloaded, the longer it will take.
