I have included below a sermon that I was going to use tomorrow at church for the morning sermon.  It is about Preaching, Teaching Christ to others.  Not to mention the Importance of Edifying other Christians.

This Sermon/File compiles with no Errors, Mistakes or Messages.  At least on my PC.  Wanted to share with you.  It is based on an article about preaching by Steve Olford.  I had to really edit it and cut it down to fit in a 45 minute time frame for church.  Makes a nice, short Personal Book in my LOGOS.

Here it is===> 0247.The Call of God to Preach and Teach the Gospel-LOGOS.docx

This sermon when loaded into Microsoft Word is formatted in the Landscape Mode with Two columns per page.  I believe that it is approx. 9 pages.    By folding each printed page in half, you can paper-punch each open end and insert into a small 5x7 binder.  Articles, sermons and Sunday school lessons work out great this way and is a great way to store your lessons for future use in class or the pulpit.

    Thanks a lot!

Just a additional idea: if you plan to put several (or all) of your sermons into PBs, there's a feature to create an automated index. You simply put this table into the PB source file below the title line:

    Sermon File Type

    Sermon

    Passages

    2 Kings 7:19

    Topics

    Sin; Unbelief

    Tags

    Congregation; Believers

    Speaker

    C. H. Spurgeon

    Venue

    New Park Street Chapel, Southwark

    Date

    January 14, 1855

The two column headers and the entries in the left column are mandatory, in the right column you put the respective information from your sermon.

You then build one PB for all your sermons and just add each one as a new word document and rebuild. Logos will create an index over the fields - so you can later find the sermons. More explanation and sample files in the wiki at https://wiki.logos.com/Sermon_and_Illustration_Support

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

This is the top of my Sermon Template in Word so that I'm sure to include all the fields to created the index.

Which creates an index like this at the end of your PB
