Dear Faithlife eBooks

I hope the publishers are starting to reach out to you to notify you of ebook promotions.

I check Gospel eBooks website daily and there seem to be many publisher promotions that aren't being offered at Faithlife eBooks. Whilst I could buy these books in Kindle, I only do so when I'm desperate to buy them. Conversely from a publishers point of view I buy many books from Faithlife eBooks on a whim, which means publishers are missing out on sales when they don't extend their promotions to you.

Agreed. Please don’t let FLEB die.

Please fight to be recognized by publishers and not an after thought

This I can fully and 100% subscribe to - well, I get the Gospel eBooks daily, at least, and sometimes check their website. But buying here on a whim as opposed to reluctantly getting a Kindle book if I'm rather desparate to buy them fits.

(While keeping in mind that some publishers might still need to reconsider even accepting my sales dollars at all, even if I'm prepared to pay full price)

Have joy in the Lord! Smile

Thank you for your post Paul.  I also wish the publishers would give greater consideration to FLEB when running promotions.  (I also appreciate how you will from time to time highlight the missing sales here on the forums.)

I have literally purchased over 4,000 Kindle titles that Gospel eBooks has highlighted a sale for, over the last 4-5 years.  The ONLY reason I will purchase a Kindle book is: if FLEB does not have a price that comes within 20% of the Kindle book price; if FLEB does not offer the book; or, if the book is a Logos format and thus cannot be offered at the sale price because of the additional tagging costs.

I also wish the publishers would work with Faithlife on this last point and provide the same price discount for Logos formatted titles.  So, if the Kindle price is discounted by $11.00 to get to a price of $1.99, then just provide that same price discount to Faithlife, so they can offer the Logos formatted title for $11.00 off.

I will always check every book at Faithlife before purchasing it through the Kindle store.  If the Gospel eBooks sale page is showing the sale runs for a few days, I will even check back on FLEB before the sale ends to see if the price of the title has been lowered before buying at Kindle.

With over 8,000 titles in my Kindle library, there are many titles that simply do not fit into the Faithlife ecosystem.  However, for those that do, I would so much love to give my money to Faithlife instead of Amazon!  (And have the functionality of Logos behind my library instead of the lousy Kindle app!)
