REQUEST: Significantly Better Text Formatting

We desperately need much better text formatting on slides. I would like to add two different types of text in a single box and better options for centered text for one line with different justification for other text.

Yes I know I can add two text boxes, but when you add more than one text box, you only get a single line of text in that box showing at a time. Unless I'm messing something, I'd like to see more than one line of text.

Why no Underline capability?
