I spend about 5-15 hours a day in Logos, and each day I come across at least 5-15 references to the Talmud in dictionaries, encyclopedias, historical sources like Josephus & Philo, as well as many monographs on a variety of topics. Yet we don't have copies of the Babylonian and Jerusalem Talmuds available in Logos format. Why?
My question is more to the community than to Logos...they would likely sell it if the interest was there. What I don't quite understand is why the interest isn't there. If your resources quote the Talmud incessantly, don't you think they have a reason? Some of the most insightful comments about the Messiah come from the rabbis, even if they don't know who He is. There are rabbinic insights that dwarf the pablum of many if not most Christian preachers.
Ignorance isn't bliss...it's ignorance. Can we turn a light on please?
Perhaps we could get these two highly important resources in CP, or even as PrePub candidates?
Pretty please...and thank you.
