This is problem that actually popped up in Logos 8, but I just learned to live with it. I was hoping it was an error that would be remedied in Logos 9, but it is still an issue.
I may just be doing something wrong. I am a long time Logos user and maybe I'm trying to do something an old way that requires some modification in the new versions.
Problem:
I have created a custom style for copied verses. My custom style uses custom MSWord styles that get passed to Word for interpretation. Here is my custom style:
%NoCharFormatting
%NoRedLetter
%NoFootnotes
%NoCitation
%HeaderStyle = VerseHeader
%ForEachVerseStyle = CV2
%FooterStyle= ScriptureRef
=Header
[FullPassageRef] |
=ForEachVerse
[VerseText]
=Footer
([Version])

When I use the "Copy Bible Verses" tool and paste into Word, everything works great. The styles are transferred. I get exactly what I want.
But when I highlight a verse and click "Copy Verse Styled," and then paste, the Word styles do not come through (however the other added features in the Logos style do such as the "|" and the "()" around the version reference).
Why does the "Copy Verse Styled" return a slightly different test string that the "Copy Bible Verses" tool?
Thanks for any help.
