Would it be possible to see some excerpts from this series? Or is that a no no? Lev. would be nice, Isa 56? Maybe a little Malachi 4:1-6 possibly? Just curious and I don't see any samples anywhere.
I think that the excerpts are such a small % of the text that it should fall under fair use. I hope I'm right.
Not one of your requests, but you might find this interesting. I find Dahood's work on the Psalms quite thought-provoking even though he sometimes goes a bit overboard.
Psalm 2(2:1–12)

Martha, George, Thank you so much, this looks wonderful! Goodness me, my budget is going out the window these days! I wish I could by this series book by book. Hmmm its only another $137/mo for the whole set...

No, your budget is going INTO Windows (unless you're unfortunate enough to be using a MAC). [:D]
I'm not an expert on this collection, but I think some of the volumes are written from what I would consider a goofy perspective, (i.e. source criticism/documentary hypothesis drivel). That doesn't mean you can't cull helpful or useful info from these sources, but their perspective IMO makes much of what they say nonsense. Others are entitled to their opinions, of course.

[:D] Ha ha ha rofl. This is so funny! To Drash=Drivel? [;)]
Thanks for the screen shots... Anchor Yale Bible is on my wish list. I wanted to get it when it was in pre-pub, but alas the funds were not available at the time.

I was unfortunate enough to be using a Mac this year. My MacBook Pro of 14 months started to develop an occasional flicker of a very thin line for a microsecond on the screen on rare occasion. It didn't effect anything functionally, it was just a bit annoying. As it was covered under the Applecare warranty, I took it into the Apple store... they said they would change a few components. After looking at it and running some tests, they said they would just give me a brand new computer instead of fixing the old one. The computer they gave me was not equal to, but better than the old one as the technology and specs had changed. They also transferred all of my data onto the new one.
Prior to this Macbook I had owned Dell, IBM Thinkpads and Toshiba all with similar warranties. I had them all worked on at least once with much more substantial problems and not one ever suggested just giving me a new computer. AND they certainly would have never transferred all my data onto a replacement. Is this a one off? No, I have another unfortunate friend who got a new MacBook the same way when his developed a fault after two years. They just gave him the latest up to date machine and transferred his data free of charge.
Macs aren't perfect, but you can certainly bet my experience with Apple has earned my respect as a customer. Everyone should use what they prefer I say. If Windows is your deal then fine. If you like Macs, I doubt many feel unfortunate!
