Priortizing Resources and Strong's

I've been using Logos 8 Desktop for about a month now and I want to make sure I have prioritized my Hebrew and Greek Bibles and Dictionaries optimally. I upgraded to the Silver Pkg, plus I already had things like the TWOT (see my screenshot below at the bottom).

I'm also not sure if 1, I need to prioritize the Strong's Concordance, 2, do I need it along with the other Strong's (Faithlife) resource, and does it matter where I put them?

I've not yet done much "looking under the hood" at the Greek and Hebrew words, but I want to. In WORDsearch, I used to use the Vine's definitions for words using the Strong's numbers. But since watching Morris Proctor's videos, I've tried a little on my own and notice that I mostly see my NASB Dictionary. And note, that I rarely use the NASB Bible; instead, I use the ESV, NLT, and the LEB for interlinear work.

I would not prioritize Strong's as a lexicon as it is a monograph and is not coded to work as a lexicon. If you have the Enhanced Strong's Lexicon then you can prioritize that amongst your lexicons. Vine's will work fine.

You definitely want the lexicon you want to see first as your top prioritized one. It looks to me like your arrangement is fine. However, as you use Logos your interests or needs may change and if they do, you can move your resources into another priority.

Bible Search is more useful than concordance, especially when looking for more than one word in a verse.

I took a quick look...and you guys are WAY over my head in that thread. Bottom line for me is I'm not beholden to using Strong's numbers. I really don't care HOW I get "there." If Logos has other tools that allow me, a non-scholar, to have a bit more light on the Grk and Hebrew words in my Bible text, then I'm quite happy to use them instead.

Morris Proctor has helped me to understand Lemmas and Logos senses while showcasing the various Word Study and Exegesis tools. I'm intrigued by it all, but a LONG way from having a thorough working knowledge of it. So at the moment, I continue to be very curious while learning the ins and outs of Logos and its functionality. One thing leads to another...line upon line, precept upon precept. [;)]

I would promote DBL Hebrew and DBL Aramaic above the BDB lexicons as you have DBL Greek for your #1 Greek lexicon. LSJ is a more complete lexicon than the 5 above it, so put that second to DBL Greek. I would remove the NASB dictionary because it is keyed so much to the NASB bible, and the other Greek lexicons work better with your preferred bibles.

I would also remove Abridged lexicons if you have the full lexicon e.g. remove Abridged BDB and TDNTA (if you have TDNT). The Enhanced BDB is easier to work with if you have the Outline Formatting filter (check the Visual filters menu in its toolbar).

Slightly off topic - In addition to Dave's advice about the DBL, another great way to use them is to highlight the Lexicon links in it.

If you join the https://faithlife.com/logos-visual-filters group, you will have access under the Docs --> Groups to a Visual Filter created by Keep Smiling 4 Jesus called 'Lexicon Links' (Thanks [Y])

This filter will highlight the links in the DBLs to look like this..

which I find very helpful.

I'll save the link to this for later maybe, but for now, I'm still trying to just get my arms around the basics of Logos 8...and they've up and released Logos 9! I can't keep up! LOL!
