Which is the best source?
Friends, I am working my through Father John Hardon's "The Catholic Lifetime Reading Plan." I am finding that in Verbum there are two major sources for writings by the Fathers of the Church. There's the "green books" Ante-Nicene Fathers (Catholic Edition) and another series with "blue covers" called "The Fathers of the Church." If I don't have time to read both sources, which source would be considered the best source/translation of these early writings?
Thanks!

The Fathers of the Church, and it's not even remotely close.

There are several sets:
Early Church Fathers Protestant Edition (Green 1885-1900) and Early Church Fathers Catholic Edition (Green 1885-1900). There are threads about the differences here and here.
The Fathers of the Church (142 vols. [Blue]) provides newer translations from 1947-2019.
