EEC print volumes

Hello all!

So I may be in the minority here, but I actually prefer the print editions of these commentaries to the digital ones. I wouldn’t say I draw a hardline on this issue (I have the Song of Songs and Lamentations commentaries on Logos) but I would much rather have them in print, and for what it’s worth I have most of the print volumes that are available. However, for some of the volumes print editions seem to not be forthcomong (such as 1 and 2 Samuel) while others seem to be available right out of the gate (like it seems that Daniel will be). Is there still a plan to produce all these volumes in print form, or has that plan been jettisoned? And if that plan has been scrapped, is there some way to know which will be getting print editions and which will not?

    Hi Jacob,

Our plan is to publish every volume in the EEC in both print and digital formats by the series end. There are various reasons why some of the older digital-only volumes haven't been brought to print yet. Our plan is to publish new volumes in both formats as they're released (like Daniel). For these older volumes, there are logistical hurdles that have to be overcome before they're published in print.

And to think that the entire 44 volume set was supposed to be completed back in 2019.  Talk about a major miscalculation.
