Sermon Notes With Proclaim

I could use a easy to apprehend, yet kind of thorough tutorial on creating sermon notes--preferably in Logos Sermon Maker instead of in Proclaim--and then information on how to set up everything to be able to use Proclaim Remote to have notes and slides all on one device when preaching.
Any counsel out there?
I'm using Logos 9. something or other, and the latest Proclaim version.
Thanks!

Hi Terry
Have a look at the training videos at https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360017433952-Logos-9-Sermon-and-Bible-Study-Prep-Series. -particularly 9-11.
These talk you through how to create sermons in Sermon Manager and then to publish to Proclaim (among other things).
Once published to Proclaim, they will be viewable in the Proclaim Remote
Please post back if this doesn’t make sense or anything is unclear

Hi Terry,
Graham dropped a great overall support article on the Logos side of things regarding bible study tools in Logos. Ultimately what your wanting to do is create your sermon transcript/notes in Logos Sermon builder. Our Proclaim remote will only show slide content, if you want to also see your preaching transcript you would likely be looking at Preaching Mode which is a feature of Logos 9:

I don't quite understand this.
While Preaching Mode is great, the Proclaim remote gives you access to Slide notes that correspond to the sermon manuscript.
What am I missing?

Well, a recent video from Faithlife I came across on Facebook yesterday shows a guy with his iPad, with sermon notes, next to his slides, and able to activate the slides by tapping on them. What am I missing here?

I have Logos 9... so, does that mean I can access and activate slides from Preaching Mode on my iPad?

Sean, Can you clarify what you mean by "If you want to see your preaching transcript..."?
The attached pic shows that my notes come from Sermon Builder into Proclaim and are viewable in the Proclaim Remote. I have not even messed with "Preaching Mode" because I edit quite a few slides after they import into Proclaim since the Content/Header/Title slides are quirky and templates that are available in Proclaim are not available in Sermon Builder.

And, while I'm here on the forum page, in the past when I've tried to use Proclaim remote on my phone or tablet, I'll lose the "connection.." Any quick tips on how to make sure that won't happen anymore?

Are you using the local control where you input your computer's IP address into your iPad?

Hi Terry,
What your describing is Preach mode in Logos 9 from what I can tell. As long as you have the full features of Logos 9 you should have access to preach mode.0 -

Yes - as Sean says, you should be able to do that so long as you have the Silver Feature upgrade or higher

I hesitate to stir the water any further, but one more question: So if I'm generating slides using the Sermon maker feature in logos 9, how do I edit the appearance of the slides, just in case I want something besides basic black and letters?

Hi David,
You might have gotten me on that, I'll have to test to verify but it's possible that the transcript is populating in the notes content screen from the import.0 -

Video 10 in the set of videos I pointed to above outlines this process
