Hello
Many thanks we can copy-paste a Bible verse with Footnotes. Unfortunately the footnotes are not linked to the footnote marker in the text.
I would suggest to make it linkable. This is especially if we use it as Endnotes.
Thanks
Fabian

Into where are you pasting the verse?
Footnote are linked if you paste into a Logos note.

Hello Graham
If I paste a verse with footnotes in to Word. The Footnotes are there, but not linked.
That's odd - they paste as footnotes for me Word/Win 10
Hello MJ.
Yes it is possible to choose "Paste as Footnote" in the Preferences, but unfortunately they are not Hyperlinked, as Footnotes are if you create them in Word.
For Footnotes this is not so bad, because you can see it under the page, but if you want to have it as Endnotes then it would be great if they are hyperlinked. But it would be great if they are hyperlinked anyway, as footnotes and endnotes.
Hi Fabian - please excuse me if I have misunderstood you, but I just copied Matthew 1:1-6 from the NIV to Word, as it has quite a few footnotes, and the footnotes are all linked. I then deleted one of the footnote indicators in the text, and it deleted the footnoe itself, so they do seem to be linked. I did this by selecting the text, and when I pasted it by right-clicking and selecting the "Keep source formatting" option.
I think Fabian’s point is the footnotes are not hyperlinked to Logos
Thanks. I see what you mean and I haven't noticed that. Thats great that this works. I only saw the one in the pointed rectangle.
But you are right the other (here e -p) are also linked. But they have a little another habit. In the full paper view it doesn't seems they are linked, because nothing happens if you double click on it. But if you change to you see it works.
So there are a different habit of the Footnotes in the pointed rectangles and the Footnotes without the rectangles, which led me to think it is not linked.
Thanks.
Problems solved.
Question: Why do they habit differently?
