The NABRE Bible is on sale at $0.99. The product page mentions a "Sunday of the Word of God" sale. I can't see a link yet or any books obviously on sale. Maybe they're not showing as I own them.

The same sale is mentioned on the Douay product page.

There is a live sale page. I guessed its URL.
Thanks for the hint...

Are you not allowed to post links to the sale pages?
Sure we are but I don't think it is active yet.
I don't know about a sale page as such, but if you click on Catholic Bibles in the Verbum site, it takes you to this page:

There are a number at $0.99
You're welcome. [:)]
Incidentally, the actual official Sunday of the Word of God this year, for anyone who might be wondering, is this Sunday, January 24. So I expect that the sale will be publicized soon.
I’ve added a suggestion for FL to add a link to the blue sale box to help us easily see which other resources are included in a particular sale.

Does anyone prefer this translation over the NRSV or ESV. It appears to be an updated RSV removing archaic language. Is there any reason I might want to add this Bible to my library (other than the Apocryphal and Deuterocanonical books)? I own the aforementioned ESV and NRSV Bibles - as well as the RSV.

It is an RSVCE with updates to "archaic" language. If you have the RSV but not the RSVCE, this version will basically provide you with the RSVCE's take on the Deuterocanon and the New Testament. (The protocanonical OT is the same for both the RSV and the RSVCE.)
This is also the translation used by the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible.
Is there anything on the link page you guessed that isn't on sale on this page:

OK, enough already.

Thanks. It seems odd that it's not even promoted on the Verbum home page.
I found it on the Verbum Blog.
