Galaxie Theological Journals subscription - Logos version or Galaxie own subscription?

Hi everyone,

Just want to see if you have the Galaxie Theological Journal subscription either on Logos or directly on the Galaxie website, and want to know your experience (on search for specific topics etc.) and maybe comparison between the two subscriptions.   It seems that the one on Logos does not update , while the one on Galaxie website will keep updating.

Thanks!

Benny

I don't think that's accurate. Since the Galaxie subscription is a subscription in Logos, not a bought product, it will update. Looking from the updated dates in my library, the last update actually was in December 2020

Wasn't this to be updated annually going forward towards the end of each year as in by now already for 2024 w/ Volume 27????

The subscription bundle is not tagged as the new ones. Scroll down for information on that.

The Galaxie’s Theological Journal Library Subscription was updated to match the Galaxie’s Theological Journal Library, vols. 1–27 which was released yesterday (Feb 28).

But I noticed that the Logos version of the Galaxie’s Theological Journal Library does not include some of the journals which are present in the subscription offered on the Galaxie's website.

For example, the Bulletin for Biblical Research is included in the subscription on the Galaxie's website, but it is missing from the Galaxie’s Theological Journal Library on Logos. There is a thread on this:

which says that "Bulletin for Biblical Research is published by Eisenbrauns. Unfortunately, Eisenbrauns pulled their publications from Logos in 2022". Still, if this journal is included into Galaxie's subscription, it is strange that this is not included in the corresponding subscription on Logos.

It's amusing that this thread just appeared because I was thinking about this resource a few days ago! I wonder if @Rick Mansfield (Logos) has any update.

@Donovan R. Palmer I don't have a lot of details, but according to our internal development database, there are new Galaxie journal updates in the works.

Hi @Rick Mansfield (Logos) I was specifically wondering about Bulletin for Biblical Research. Is there any hope it could return to Logos?
