Letters in book not showing up for dark mode -- can't read it
Heyo,
Just picked up Studies in Medieval Philosophy by Etienne Gilson and Verbum 9 downloaded it and indexed it in a heartbeat. But I can't read it! Here's a screenshot, attached. The letters are not appearing in dark mode. I have open Kant's Religion within the Boundary of Pure Reason in the next pane for comparison. What do?
Here's a few things I tried:
- Closing it and reopening it
- Shutting down the app and restarting it
- Praying for mercy
Software version 9.2.0.0014

If this is a resource issue (which I think is likely), there isn’t anything you can do. Is the text selectable? This is a FLEB (ebook) edition. I’m wondering if this is more like a PDF version.
If this appears to be a resource issue, it may be best to have a moderator move this thread to the FLEB forum.

That seems to have happened, but no one from FL has commented, which is a shame, because Gilson is worth reading.

I am worried that this thread has been moved into a subforum where it will not be seen. Has anyone at FL seen this thread? This book is completely unreadable in dark mode.

You've posted it in the Faithlife eBooks forum, do probably not the best forum for the post. I find if you have an important issue to raise, it's best not to assume a Faithlife employ will read your post and therefore suggest you contact Customer Services directly. (Employees do often monitor the forums despite what I've just said.)

The dev team is looking into it next week and will hopefully arrive at a solution soon. Sorry for the inconvenience. I’ll let you know when i do!

FL doesn't regularly monitor the forums, as Paul indicated. However: It is always best to post in the appropriate forum so that the right employees see the post. In this case, Deborah (with FLEB) is the one you wanted.

Pleased to see it's being sorted. I was wrong about posting in the wrong forum. It was the right forum. I was just confused by the link being to the Logos page for the book rather than the Faithlife eBooks page.
