Lyric Scaling and database? (New)

I am coming from ProPresenter to test Proclaim, mostly for the cloud feature.  One thing that's annoying and I can't figure out is when adding songs and changing it to a template (font size and face), if a line is longer in length it'll shrink the size to fit the slide.  I'd rather just have it be another line and not have to do it manual all the time.  This was one feature I liked about ProPresenter.

Am I missing a way to do this?  I just get the error "one or more lines of this item have been scaled to fit the slide".

Second, ProPresenter had a library so when you imported a song, it was searchable and kept your format.  If I add a song to my service, and need to add it another week down the road, does it keep the format I've already made to it?

You are correct and this is a feature of Proclaim (actually one I like) Proclaim treats lyrics more like poetry rather than straight text. It is important that, if lines are being broken, they are broken with some literary, and usually, some musical sympathy. Having to do this by hand, at least gives us a chance to consider these factors.

I have seen, in my time some hilarious auto-line breaks where the new line says something no pastor would actually want read as a unit.

Once you add a song the song with all its formatting (and perhaps backing track) is available from 'Add Item - Reuse Item'
