Living dangerously, obviously. Please stick to the topic which is a guide to lead us to resources not theology. Alternative proposals welcomed as long as they are theologically neutral.

Step 1: Add position summaries similar to those proposed in "Quick fixes" to the Lexham Survey of Theology that are practical for Logos 9 - Faithlife Forums to the Lexham Survey of Theology

Step 2: Build an apologetics guide with pro (apologetics) and con (polemics) for each of the positions from the LST summary. It would contain 4 sections:

1. Church documents - creeds, catechisms, confessions ... with references to the particular position

2. Theologians with references to the particular position

3. Bible references drawn from the church documents and theologians with the option to show in order of frequency

4. Apologetic/polemic resources split between historic and contemporary -- this would require new coding.

Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Do you envision this as a book created by FL or is this more of a collection of links to point people in the  direction to find certain information easier?

It is a Guide like the Theology guide. I would not want FL to attempt to create an apologetics/polemics book.

Do you envision the guide to include methodology/ approaches in any way, shape or form or this aspect to be left to the Four / Five views types

of books and courses as there methodology in itself can be classified in different ways?

Because I chose to tie it to the LSTO in order to take advantage of existing coding, methodology doesn't appear as an independent item. I would be more inclined to put it in a workflow.

I was pondering whether a section on logic resources might be beneficial. It might help the would be apologist avoid errors in making a defense.
