I sm constantly needing to reauthorize FaithlifeTV on AppleTV (like every day or every few days). This problem occurs across multiple devices and has been ongoing for some time
I wrote in my complain last time, and no answer from FL.
It's really annoying. I mean I already hardly use the app because the type of contents it has, now with this setback, it makes the app much more worthless.
I haven't seen this in testing except when I change my password. Changing an account password is expected to sign out the account in all apps.
I'll see if I can find anything in logs.
Mike, sorry, I must have missed your report of this before.
As best I can tell, tvOS was clearing out the saved authentication data. I just shipped an update that changes how authentication data is stored. Please let me know if you see the problem again.
Thanks, Dave. The problem is pretty consistent and not yet resolved. I just had to re-sign in again.
But now that the app is updated, I’ll let you know if it signs me out again.
I still had to resign yesterday I think.
I can't tell why the credentials are being lost, but I just added some extra logging that may help determine the cause.
