The entire set is $52.63 but the only book I don't own in the set is $50.99 separately. Either the single 15% off is greater for the individual item or the set is calculated incorrectly. Just thought I'd check

I noticed the same, having cancelled the pre-pub for the single volume in favor of the set for a lower price a month back.
My guess was that the Memorial Day sale pricing on the other volumes has resulted in a lower discount for dynamic pricing. Once the Memorial Day sale was over, I wanted to double check to confirm my suspicions.
Sure enough, when I checked this morning, the pre-pub discount on the collection is higher. Note that the "Total Value if Sold Separately" is now $500 instead of $405. I imagine that the discount for products already owned was reduced for a time when those items were on sale.
My only concern with this is that the price of the pre-pub was able to increase. The actual collection price remained the same, but my dynamic price went up (and then, happily, is back down to the lower price). Something to be aware of, I guess.
