Verbum 9 won't update

Hello

My V9 won't take updates.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled and that seems to work but then the next update errors out. 

I am running a surface pro 6 with 8GB ram, 128GB HDD, and a 1TB sd card, I5 processor. Windows 64 Home 20H2 build 19042.1055 .

Attached is the log file. 

Any help is appreciated!

    You are getting a hardware error on your disk which is outside my expertise.
