Please suggest resources for understanding who the "sons of prophets", "band of prophets" might be

I would appreciate any suggestions of Logos/Verbum resources that would help me understand who the "sons of prophets", "band of prophets" might be. I have a number of commentary sets that don't seem to shed much light on this. From what I've read so far it seems that some may have been schooled in prophesying, that some of the prophets may have lived together, that some of the prophets may have had assistants. There must have been groups of prophets that numbered 100 since we know that Obadiah hides the hundreds of prophets in groups of 50 in caves so Jezebul cannot kill them. We even know that God allows a lying spirit to go and deceive the prophets who are advising Ahab on whether or not to attack Ramoth-gilead (1 Kings 22) before the prophet Micaiah comes and tells the king the truth.
If anyone could suggest resources available in Logos/Verbum that might address this things I would really appreciate it!

Does the Factbook entry "Sons of prophets" give you useful results?
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks MJ. That did provide some useful information. I don't know why I didn't think to use the Factbook but the Factbook entry did bring up some interesting information.
