What does Uploading a Personal Book Do?
After creating a Personal Book in Logos I noticed the option to Upload the Resource. So I did. Now what? Can I see my Personal Book in the mobile app because I uploaded it?

No. Uploading compiled Personal Book allows your resource to be downloaded into your personal desktop installation(s).
Personal Book Bug => Bug: 7.2 RC 3 Regression: Personal Book Discourse Glossary provided reason for me to use scan command for copying compiled Personal Books into my new installations (instead of upload/download that turns off Personal Book index fields for application use).

Bro: I have created and uploaded lots and lots of PBs. Every time when in done the indexing starts up automatically and those resources consistently show up in my search results. I’ve had no problem whatsoever.

That lack of compatibility with. Logos mobile apps is one of my biggest frustrations with Logos. It makes the finctionality of the mobile apps much less useful.

So, I had to reset my computer recent which means redownload the software and reindex but the personal books I uploaded came with reinstall without having to recompile them.

After reading your response I went back and checked your original post and I had misread it. The actual creating of the PB is what triggers the indexing, not uploading. the uploading does, as the previous poster said, puts it in the Logos system so that when you reinstall Logos you don't have to reinstall all your PBs. It does it automatically for you. It has nothing to do with indexing at all.

Please help me understand your PBB indexing question: are you asking about indexing of PBB content for search OR are you asking about usability of Milestone/Datatype Index(es) in PBB ?
PBB "My LDG" was created/enhanced for forum thread => Suggestion: Discourse Greek NT more customizable that has four Discourse Milestone/Datatypes in PBB for customizing Discourse pop-ups. Regression experienced in 7.2 RC 3 was uploading "My LDG" PBB was followed later by silently disabling Index use for uploaded PBB => Bug: 7.2 RC 3 Regression: Personal Book Discourse Glossary (so uploaded PBB customization of Discourse pop-ups no longer appeared while PBB resource information still showed four Indexes: no visible indicator for those Milestones/Datatypes Indexes now being silently ignored).

If you upload a resource, can it be deleted later? I thought someone told me once that once uploaded it was hard to get rid of though I don’t know why. Never tried it

I agree whole heartily. For the most part, I love the way mobile app and the desktop inter-works.... but the Personal Book issue you mention is one of my frustrations also.
I took one book in my PB list and converted it to Sermon Builder.... and the Sermon Builder file would not load in mobile app. I think it was too big.
