    Is the issue that each preview seems to be the first slide? But you are saying in Preview it looks correct?

    Yes in the past I have been able to open each screen in turn and annotate my printed copy to show the slide breaks. I remember clearly because only and unopened screen responds to being pushed up before clicking on the play arrow so it has always been a bit of an awkward operation.

    I hadn't actually checked the Preview view but it does display correctly as it does if the presentation is taken online.
