Sitting at the Feet of Rabbi Jesus: How the Jewishness of Jesus Can Transform Your Faith
It was mentioned here and I'm excited to read more about "stringing pearls", which apparently Chapter 3 of that book is all about.

Oh, so that explains why I can't find it. It's not available for me to purchase in Canada. [:(]
I just bought it on Kindle.
It is really puzzling to me that there would be region restrictions on Zondervan books for Faithlife that don't apply to Amazon. I've noticed quite a number of others that are available in audio but not e-book, and they must be of this nature.

From what FL shared with us many months ago (and not in this words), HCCP want to strong-arm FL into offering and upholding localized ebook pricing - in local currencies - in the store. Thus HCCP would fully dictate pricing and thus have the chance to maximize their profits. Basically the HCCP people were ready to forego all revenues from non-US customers to force this in a "my way or the highway"-approach.
I think that many of those region restriction schemes apply to Amazon as well - maybe not always between Canada and the US - and on the other hand, strong-arming Amazon may be a little bit more complicated than doing the same with smaller ebook stores (and the amount of sales they may be willing to let go may accumulate in a few less months than with the FLEB store).
The problem of course is that Zondervan probably gets roughly the same cut whether we buy at Amazon, B&N or FL - so not only they don't care, rather it plays into their hands whenever FL reads "bought this elsewhere cause you weren't selling it". I try to limit my gut reaction to buy a kindle version in such cases - I'd rather carry my dollars to publishers who seem to play nice (like e.g. David C. Cook), and sometimes I bought a used paper copy (which may be the cheapest way to acquire the book, and will not give additional royalties to Z).
Have joy in the Lord!
