Create an option similar to "Send hyperlinks here" but for resource type. Rather than opening a new resource in a new pane it would replace whichever resource was already in the targeted pane.This would be useful for surveying commentaries and lexicons from search results without having to open and close each individual tab.

Until something like this is implemented, I simply make a collection of parallel resources that I can select or spin through. Have you explored the parallel resources option https://ref.ly/logosres/logos4help-verbum?hw=Parallel+Resource+Sets&off=630 ?
I have, but it doesn't address the specific issue I have in mind. I like to search terms WITHIN {Milestone} for my commentaries which gives me a list of search results through either Ranked or By Count. Clicking on the highlighted term takes my straight to the relevant material.
With parallel resources I lose that ordering of most relevant resources towards the top, and also have to do more leg work finding the specific sections I'm after.
