Using WS in Win 11

Can anyone help? I figured out how to install WS in windows 10 then I purchased a new PC with win 11. I figured out how to install WS on that as well but after about a month I tried to use the program one day and was told to enter a user name and password. Of course, WS is no longer supported. So I removed the program thinking that I would go thru the process again but I can never log into WS after running the install file. I keep getting stopped for a user name and password. Well, I had actually cloned my original win 11 drive since i put a larger drive in my PC. So I reinstalled my old drive in the pc and even the old drive asks for a user name and PW. Has anyone had that issue and have you been able to get around it. I know I can use WS in logos but I like the platform of WS as most of you do as well. Thanks,

Hi Ben

I think that you will be running into more and more obstacles as the OS you are running tries to deal with software that is obsolete and therefore not being tweaked to cope with current advances.

However, if you are determined not to make the transition to Logos where all your resources should be available, then I understand that there is a Facebook group dedicated to keeping Wordsearch running. You might find more help there.

Thank you Mike, I've been using both programs for several years. I like to study with both opened since they each have features I like. Anyway, thanks for the reply. I figured out last night how to get the program reinstalled and it's up and running again. Have a blessed day!

How were you able to re-register WS 12. I got it installed, and was able to get access to my library, but I cannot get to the sign-in page. It keeps saying that I need an internet connection, but I already have one active. I'm guessing maybe it cannot find the proper website to log into????

Hello Brad, do you have the instructions for installing WS? I went thru the instructions and had to figure some things out on my own during the process. I want to say I have a 4 digit pin and maybe even a password. Get back to me and I will try to help you if I can. As I said, I have WS working on Windows 11 so I know it's possible.
