Proclaim slides within Logos

I type all my sermon manuscripts in Sermon Editor and then transfer my slides to Proclaim. I edit my slides in Logos, but the slides that are in Logos are not animated or video like some of the ones in Proclaim. I know how to do the slides in Proclaim; although, I am sure that I am not using a tenth of what it can do it MAC, I would also love some directive on training for me and my media team.

But even though I know how to do slides in proclaim, doing the slides in Logos is so much faster because I can make one, for example, reference slide, and then I can tell Logos to make all the reference slides this slide, and instantly all of my verse slides are done by just doing one. Great time saver? So, my question, is there a way to get those animated or video slides that are in proclaim over to use that way in Logos sermon editor? Thanks!

I'm afraid there isn't but there have been a number of requests to get greater commonality between the resources in Logos and in Proclaim. Hopefully this will happen at some point.

Sorry I missed that piece of your post.

There is a good range of Proclaim video training at https://support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033600031-Proclaim-Training-Videos

And a lot of helpful support articles at https://support.faithlife.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000510451-Faithlife-Proclaim

This is good feedback Pastor Michael! I think Graham's links are great places to start.

In Proclaim, you can use multi-select for this. Multi-select would let you select multiple service items and apply one smart media to them all, such as all the Bible passage items in your presentation.

However, we have a number of improvements we desire to make here too. Such as applying a whole 'series' in Proclaim to a selection. This would allow theming an entire set of slides in one click!

The fact that Logos and Proclaim have different features when it comes to slides and media is a big topic internally for us lately, so I hope to get some changes out in the the short term to make this experience even better! We even made a new sermons team that handles all things sermons and Proclaim to help make this a better experience!

    My biggest 2 requests now:

      1. Faithlife Remote App works wonderful OVER LOCAL NETWORK, I long for the same connectivity with Preach Mode of a Sermon Doc in L9 from my Windows11 Microsoft Surface Pro7.
      2. I wish for edits in Proclaim to show in the slides in Sermon Docs (especially in Preach Mode)

If you record your sermon with Proclaim, will it allow you do post the podcast to spotify and apple podcast? We current use spotify as our main podcast. And will you be able to edit our own into and outro?

I haven't done any editing intro/outro; but when we record to Proclaim it posts at https://sermons.faithlife.com/profile/fhcc-cwf and I created a link to our Apple podcast at https://sermons.faithlife.com/api/channels/2747953/feed

I'll say that if you're looking to add features to the Sermon presentation feature in proclaim and how it interacts, I would love it if it would offer a 'title slide' feature always. With our live stream and in house folks seeing different iterations of the same thing I have to either manually insert the title slide in between my sermon slides or find the title slide in the remote app on my own. It's cumbersome.
