Question/Request: control Proclaim with Bluetooth pedal

Yesterday I attempted to use the Proclaim Remote app to control the Proclaim slides, but using a Bluetooth Page Turner pedal. Using the pedal, the app seemed to scroll through the slides, but they did not advance in the presentation.

Question: Is there a way to get this to work? It could be a very handy feature. If not: 

Request: Could this be enabled, please?!

    Rather than bluetooth a scroll, Might you be able to embed MIDI cues and then foot pedal slide advances?

    We use "signals" in proclaim to embed midi cues that are identified as various scenes in our OBS stream. I'm guessing if midi cues can signal scene changes, a midi pedal (bluetooth to presentation computer instead of proclaim remote) should be able to advance slides.

    I'm a little unclear of your use of "scroll" and "advance": are you describing scrolling the strip on the bottom vs. advancing the preview at the top?

    That's not something I'm familiar with but could be worth having a look at.

    I thought about connecting to the presentation computer (rather than Proclaim Remote app) but then I would have had no way of seeing what slide was active. I could have worked around that, but I didn't have enough time to think straight!

    Yes, that's what I'm describing. It seemed that the app was scrolling through the slide previews (at the bottom I think) when using the Bluetooth pedal, but the live presentation wasn't advancing. 

    FWIW, I still think It ought to be possible to use a Bluetooth page turner pedal with the Proclaim Remote app. It seems that the app already recognises the signals from the pedal. It would be great if it could actually advance the live presentation too.
