How to hide/turnoff other Languages in Atlas so that it is not too cluttered

Hi,

How do I hide/turnoff other Languages in Atlas so that it is not too cluttered (see screenshot). I happened to support by buying the Chinese version of Logos when it was first available + some upgrades. But, I normally only work with English only. I got double the problem compared to other supported Languages, as I have both simplified and traditional script (for my generation I can read both so just need one of them).

Please consider to provide an option to filter the "Language" in the Table of Contents for Atlas. Is there a way to remove my Licenses for Chinese (simplified & traditional) Atlas? Thank You.

JK

    I agree. I run into the same issue. The handling of different languages could be improved in Logos. In addition to the Atlas tool, results in language dictionaries or commentaries could also be sorted by language.

    I had this same problem and I sent an email to customer support and they were able to delete the other language in the atlas. Not sure what exactly they delete but at least I don't have duplicates of everything in another language.

    Hi Bob,

    My Original post was 2 years ago. I recalled email to Customer Service at that point with the screenshot, and was told nothing can be done. Specifically, may I know what languages do you see apart from English? For my case I basically just need English for the Atlas, if they can remove both Chinese Simplified and Traditional, it will make it less clattered. However, I do have a fair bit of Chinese Resources that I would like to preserve.

    I am a German user and I totally agree. It is very distracting to have all these different languages displayed in the menu. Please change this!

    Bob,

    I just emailed Logos, and Logos Technical Advisor responded as follows:

    [Dear Lim,

    I have searched for the user who claims to have had the solution before, but he is not currently registered in our database.

    We do not have a way to remove languages in "Altas"]

    PS: I supposed you might have asked them to remove the "License of your purchase", that included Language(s) that show up in your Atlas. However, that does not work for me, because long ago, I purchased Chinese Logos based packages as well as bilingual packages when it became available on top of my English packages I purchased over the last 20+ years.

    @LimJK,

    I had English and French in Atlas because I installed the free French base package.

    I then asked Logos to remove the French base package so this would be fixed, but that did nothing. Then I emailed again and asked specifically to remove the language from Atlas and that did it.

    I assumed from that that they were able to delete the language from Atlas without removing the package, but as your experience shows, that may not be the case. Sorry about that.
