Greetings! I am a new Verbum user, so please forgive my ignorance if this has already been answered. I know how to make new layouts, and I've constructed one that seems to work well for my needs (Lectionary on left, then Missal and RSVCE top right, and Passage Guide on bottom right. I have two questions:

How do I get the lectionary to open up to the current day when I first open the layout, rather than on the day I originally made the layout?

When I select a passage link on the lectionary side, is there a way to open said passage in the already-open passage guide or RSVCE, rather than it creating a new tab when you right-click and select "passage guide."

Thanks for the help!

Pax,

Fr. Dean

Welcome to Verbum and the forums.

How do I get the lectionary to open up to the current day when I first open the layout, rather than on the day I originally made the layout?

Rather than creating a new layout, you need to modify one of the two preset lectionary layouts which have the today's date logic built in.

When I select a passage link on the lectionary side, is there a way to open said passage in the already-open passage guide or RSVCE, rather than it creating a new tab when you right-click and select "passage guide."

I think a linked set will work in this case. Set the same letter in the lectionary and passage guide in the panel menu (kebab, three vertical dots),
