I've been installed Logos4Mac from alpha to Beta4. But from one day still on alpha version layout haven't been appearing when I opened Logos4mac.

When I open Logos4Mac Home page and anything do not appear on screen even though there shows up the command bar of Logos4Mac. But the command bar does not function, some of 'File', whole parts of 'Tool' and 'Layout' are invisible. Furthermore when I click on any of command on the bar there is no response except 'Help'.
I reported this problem twice and got some suggestions from the Logos staff to install updated version but those didn't work out.
I reformatted my whole computer and reinstalled OS X 10.6.4 on Macbook Pro(2007 early) but just copied 'Whole Applications' and 'Users File' on it from Backup drive. But problem on Logos still exists.
Please verify it and help.

I'm afraid I can't help your MAC related issue, but I would encourage you to change your display name to something other than your email - spammers will get it, and you'll be inundated with more spam than ever.

I am having someone from tech support call you sometime today to help find out what is hindering Logos4 from operating properly.

I tried to firstly remove Usermanager.db from User/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Users and opened L4 then it started updating. Then I stopped updating after 1% download and reopened it. L4 tried to prepare Library for a while and finally Homepage showed up with full Command bar in Menu Bar, but it continued to index Library. I didn't try to do another job yet. But Logos 4 has two folders in 'Data' and 'Documents'. One is wuqkdfjh.s0g, which has full data/indexing previously and the other one is 44tx0ov1.pn7, which is new one
Hope to see resolution on it.
After L4M(B4) was fully updated when I opened it, same problem occurred again. I couldn't see Home page nor the other layouts. The problem is exactly same as before.
I almost give up finding solution, rather go back to Logos1 for Mac and Logos 4 for Windows.
Forum http://community.logos.com/forums/t/6731.aspx has tutorial for posting logs - preferably 3 files in compressed archive.
Previously posted logos4.log file shows 182 resources to download along with Indexer Error allocating memory - suspect Indexer crashing - need console messages to confirm.
Issue may be similar to forum http://community.logos.com/forums/p/20814/156492.aspx - please post log file set.
Observation: Indexer downloads resources and indexes them for Logos 4 use - If Indexer unable to complete, Logos 4 lacks usability.
Going back is an option.
Beta software can be challenging - sharing crash description and log files helps Logos developers to improve product.

nlog.config is unnecessary; the most important file to get is the Console Messages log, which is not present. If you can upload that, we'll be much closer to getting things working for you.

Paul: that's not what I need. The process of gathering logs is explained here: How To Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac - Tutorial w/ VIDEO.
Console utility can also show "All Messages" and "Console Messages" - can save a copy to a file.
If Mac OS X Language (System Preferences) is different than English, "Console Messages" changes to match language preference (e.g. Konsolenmeldungen ).
Here is a folder including 4 files copied just after installing new B version.

Logging zip file does include Console Messages. In couple minutes, huawei MobilePartner wrote so many messages that Console Messages file does not have any Logos 4 Mac messages.
SyncClientErrors.log shows request time outs, network unreachable, and many network name resolution failures.

Wonder about Mobile Broadband network reliability ? (roaming phone interference) Some Logos 4 downloads are many megabytes - also Logos 4 wants to parallelize downloads (4 at a time)
Dreaming - Logos download manager - resumable and parallelism (personally would choose 1 or 2 at a time instead of 4). Also not sync while downloading resources (session connections). Trying to parallelize network sessions can be lot like lots of automobiles trying to use one road at same time - brake lights (and delays) - serial use yields faster throughput.
According to your Indexer.log, there are 219 resource files in your index, which means that you do have some resources installed.
Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing (or not seeing)?
You can use Shift+Command+3 to take a screen capture (or just use the "Grab" program under Applications > Utilities).
I am a staff locating in China.
I had a quite speedy broadband DSL then I didn't have a problem to download more than 2 gigs files in L4M. Recently the server stopped service due to some of reasons (I guess not that critical issues). Then I am using 3G mobile broadband.
But the problem has been existing for long time, even under fast DSL.

But recently I found one thing that when L4M finishes downloading files it shows the comment on screen, saying, "It is ready to be installed", with YES and NO options. Then when I click on YES, L4M is shut down and L4W in Parallels Desktop File is opened. But L4M has same problem.
