Content Deletes When Syncing
Hi,
I've had a situation that has happened several times. So far it has been merely irritating, but it could be something that causes problems down the road, so I wanted to ask about it. For reference, I'm running Logos 9.16.0.0006 on Mac OS Monterey 12.6, although this has been happening for months, so I don't think it's related to the latest editions of Logos or Mac OS.
I use a custom made workflow for my sermon preparation. It involves lots of questions I use for thinking through the passage, and I fill in notes under each question that I can look back at later. Inevitably, when I start typing in my answers to my workflow questions, a couple minutes after starting, Logos syncs. The Logos syncing wheel shows up in front of my screen for a fraction of a second, and when it goes away, anything I've typed in the last 3-5 seconds is gone, and my cursor has been moved back to the start of the text box. So if I'm in the middle of typing something, the earliest part of what I typed is still there, anything from the previous few seconds is erased, and anything I've continued to type is at the start of the text box, in front of the things I typed earlier.
Like I said, typically it's merely mildly irritating as I have to delete and retype some text. But there could come a day where I struggle to remember what I had written or where something gets deleted without me noticing, and I'd rather try to figure out how to fix the problem before I get to that point.
Has anyone else had this issue? And is there anything I can do to change it so this doesn't continue in the future.

Greetings Eric
I don't have the problem but I might be able to point you to ways that you might get a solution and in passing stop others being bitten by the bug.
First if you can still edit the title of this thread make the title 'BUG: Content deletes when syncing'. Faithlife's staff's eyes are drawn to the word 'BUG'.
Second post again in this thread attaching the Logs from your system once the fault has occurred again. Use the paperclip or the orange thing next-door to it to attach the Logs.

Can you please recreate the problem and collect log files? There are instructions at the bottom of Mike's post.

So I tried to recreate it, and it froze for a fraction of a second while syncing, but this time it didn't delete anything, and the cursor totally disappeared from the text box rather than going back to the beginning of the box. So what this log records is similar to what I was reporting, but not exactly identical to it.
