Selection Menu

A refreshed design to the way you interact with your books.

What is it?

The new text selection menu makes highlighting, note-taking and information cards quick to access and easy to use.

How to access it?

Open the Logos mobile app.
Open your favorite Bible or another book in your Library.
Single-tap on any word to select the entire sentence or verse. The selection menu will pop-up, allowing you to take action on the selected sentence or verse.
Double-tap (or long-press) on any word to select one word. The selection menu will pop-up, allowing you to take an action on that word.

Factbook Cards are available in Starter packages and above.

This is an excellent feature. Much faster!

I really like the ease of use with the new selection menu! However, I do miss the compact appearance of the previous menu. On my iPad especially, the menu is displayed as a large gray square even if there is no information to display at the bottom. This obstructs much of what is below. I think it would be great if there was an option to choose between both menus in settings, or if the size of the new selection menu could be made a little more compact.

The factbook cards do not display on the new sentence text selection pop-up. Is there a setting that I unknowingly changed?

I purchased the full-feature package and have since purchased L10 Bronze. Using an ipad Pro (6th generation) on iPadOS 16.

It looks as though you are using the New International Reader's Version - is that correct?

I can confirm this doesn't work in that resource - can you try another resource such as the regular NIV or ESV?

Thanks, Graham! Works perfectly with ESV. Had temporarily set the NiRV as my Top Bible just to get a better feel for it. This issue is sufficient reason to select a different Top Bible.
