Jastrow: Hebrew lemma tagged as aramaic
(I don't know, if this is the right place, please correct me)
if I open the Word Study to an aramaic lemma, which is in Jastrow's A Dictionary of the Targumim, the Talmud Babli and Yerushalmi, and the Midrashic Literature, the link leads to the hebrew (b.h.) lemma in said lexicon, not the aramaic (ch.). The error is common among users of the printed work, but if it is systematically wrong here, it should be corrected.

The denominational forums are less reliable than the L9 or General forums for being picked up by FL. Putting BUG in the front of the title and mentioning Kyle increase the chances of it being seen. However, the surefire way to ensure that it is seen by the right people, is to add it under "resource updates" in Roadmap | Faithlife Kyle reliably responds there. PS. On a major problem such as this I like to see it in the forums as well as on the feedback site.

I'd be interested in the answer. Jastrow is supposed to have a 50-50 mix (per preface) of hebrew and aramaic (eastern/western). Right clicking headwords, even those identified as b.h. still delivers a right-click aramaic lexicon (the resource has indices for both aramaic and hebrew headwords).
What happens from an aramaic lemma > a BWS (nuts/bolts) I've no idea, but it's not easy to track, user-wise.

No, many will see it here ... but next time to have more people see it post in the L10 forum (as of Monday, we think... it will be a big surprise if the big announcement isn't L10).

Sorry! I was just saying, it's not easy to see how the software classifies a lemma (hebrew vs aramaic), as one moves from the source (maybe aramaic Daniel), to the Bible Word Study analysis ... is the lemma classed as aramaic or hebrew internal to the software.
