Notes observation
I know there's a post on this somewhere here, but I just can't find it.....
Having decided that during beta I should attempt to use notes (I never have in Libronix before since L3 was just not good) I ran a word study and made an observation by clicking on the note tab and typing.
Then it occured to me, How do I finish the note? How do I save it? I clicked somewhere else to see if that would save it but it didn't. I clicked the tab to see if that would save it... no change.
Figuring I could lose my data if I did it wrong I selected everythign and copied it to the clipboard and then clicked the title bar of the next section down. Finally my note kind of "greyed out" and looked like it saved. (I think it did)
Um, we need a way to actively mark a note as saved. Even a "done" by the bottom of the note would be good.
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

Yeah just give me something obvious to click that says "done".

Auto-save has always been a feature of 3.0. It may have been a feature prior to 3.0 though I've slept since then and don't remember. When you've used it a bit, you'll get used to it and simply take it for granted that your work has been saved.

Understood.
I have used several different word processors and note taking programs. All of them autosave, and all of them have a save button I can click for that extra sense of security.
