How do I get the red text to come to the front?
Proclaim moves text boxes and foreground images back as new ones are created. If you want the red text on top of everything else, you'll need to make a new text box and delete the old one.
Sorry for the confusion on this. There's a post on our feedback site where you can add your support if you want to see this functionality added.

Sorry Brandon but it doesn't work that way in the real world. The 'Brought Forward' textbook is the last one added.
If I slide the text over the 'St Andrew's' box it does sit on top of it.
If I create a copy of the 'St Ninian's' box the new text goes behind all the existing text on that side of the slide.
Hmm, interesting. It worked for me right before I responded. I was on a content item, made a couple of text boxes with different color text, then slide them around. The newer one always layered on top.Looks like you're on an Announcement item? Those have more fields initially, so it could be that the ordering is getting thrown off in some scenarios. I'll play with this a bit more next week and get back to you.
Alright Mike, I see what's going on.The Announcement item was indeed a factor. I added one to my presentation, added text to all of them, then added a new text box. The new text box layered underneath the existing fields. I then made another one, which layered on top of the one I just created, but still beneath the text boxes that came in with the media.I then had to delete the field I wanted at the back, then enter the text from the deleted field into the first one I made from scratch and then use the second one to contain my callout "important" info.
Thanks again for the report, and I'm sorry for the disruption. We'll look into this a bit more and see if we can get a fix in order.
Thanks Brandon
You are correct. I must have set the announcement slide up at a time when I was only dealing with one congregation and just added to it when I need to add another congregation.
After your reply I produced a 'Content' slide with a similar layout and it worked as you describe.
I rarely use the 'Announcement' slides as I find they seldom meet my needs. In particular the lack of a format that provides a full date in the form '31st October 2022' or '31st Oct 2022' is inconvenient.
Thanks for looking into this and I hope you can sort out the Announcement Slides for those that use them.
