I'm not a Proclaim'er, but have always been impressed at the quickness of assistance, especially as it involves successful church services.
MJ's bumps are quite a surprise.
I'm not a Proclaim'er
I haven't 500miles either but I do use the program.
Unfortunately the developers of Proclaim favour another type of forum that is more tightly controlled by the staff.
It is unfortunate because that Forum pretty much stymies conversation as active subjects quickly move out of site as new ones top the list.
I'm not a Proclaim'er either. I was wondering if maybe that team was affected by the new direction of Faithlife to focus more on its core competencies of Bible study tools, content delivery, and digital discipleship. But I guess Proclaim was not part of that restructuring, and it remains something that FL is committed to, at least in the short term, according to Vik's post.
I did a quick search through old Proclaim threads to see who from FL had been responding to them most recently, and if they were still employed with the company (i.e., still posting and/or not listed on that Google Sheet of laid-off employees that someone shared). It appears that Jordan Sjodin is a developer on Proclaim and is still responding to threads on the Proclaim forum as recently as yesterday.
Well, 'actually', after reading your post, I think I was wrong. Either MJ is secretly a dev at Proclaim (didn't check), or she's been bumping unanswered Proclaim posts (many 'Bug:') for quite a while. My good impressions came from Alexander(?); he disappeared.
MJ has been around for a while so her bumping posts is nothing new! Not sure about other forums for our other products, but in general, support requests are better served through phone and email. After that is the Faithlife Proclaim group as Mike alluded to. Lastly, is the forums and in general we hope for it to be a place for customers to help each other rather than a place for our CS reps to do support.. But that being said, Brandon and myself are both fairly active here. and both of us are on the Proclaim dev team, not our CS department.
