Hi all!
I just got a Onyx BOOX Leaf 2 ereader for Christmas. It will replace my Kindle as it is a full-featured Android tablet, but with an eink screen. The main reason that I got it was because it would give me access to my whole Logos library on that nice-to-read-from screen (much better than a phone or iPad).
However, there are two little tweaks that I wanted to see if it would be at all possible to enable an option to have the pages turn with the volume or page buttons on Android. The Leaf 2 has dedicated page-turn buttons that are much nicer to use than swiping on the screen. Several reader apps (Kindle, etc.) have the option to allow the volume buttons to turn pages. Would it be possible to add this functionality to the Logos Android app?
Of secondary concern (as there are ways to mitigate it), but any kind of animation is a pretty bad time on the low refresh rate of an eink screen. Would it be possible to have the option to disable the sliding text animation when turning pages and instead just have the new page pop onto the screen? That would make using this device with Logos even cleaner.
Thank you!
Tim
