I have a search that I have not used for awhile...with match case ON, it returns Adonai translated as Lord not lord. It used to work; what is wrong with it?
field.lemma:"אדן 1" WITHIN 0 CHARS Lord
"Match case" means "Exactly match upper/lower case in the search."
If you turn "Match case" OFF, I believe it will do what you wanted. [smile]
Thanks Jack - I did try that before, it also produces zero results. But, my notes indicated I did previously run this search with match case on - which makes sense to me anyway, as I am trying to find "Lord" not "lord".
I may not have run this search since say Logos 8, but something clearly used to work that no longer does.
That lemma term doesn't seem correct at all to me. You don't want the "field" part in there, and that Hebrew text doesn't seem to be a valid lemma (that I can see). I think that "1" is not actually supposed to be a "1". Try this: lemma.h:אָדוֹן WITHIN 0 CHARS Lord
Or you can use the following, which is a shorter form, and won't count each hit twice: lemma.h:אָדוֹן INTERSECTS Lord
