Greek 3rd person personal pronoun used as intensive

I'm hoping that someone can help me to create a slightly more complex search.

Tomorrow in class, we will be discussing pronouns, particularly what Merkle & Plummer call the INTENSIVE USE of the personal pronoun.

Examples they give include:

ὅτι αὐτὸς ὁ κύριος…καταβήσεται ἀπ᾽ οὐρανοῦ (1 Thes 4.16)

This use of the pronoun can also intensify the subjects of the verbs in 1st or 2nd person.

For example: καὶ αὐτοὶ ἅγιοι ἐν πάσῃ ἀναστροφῇ γενήθητε (1 Peter 1.15)--Also you yourselves be holy in all conduct.

I know that I can use the following search in a Morph Search: morph.g:RP????P

In the NA28 that gives me 213 hits.

This was mentioned in a forum post by Rick Brannan a number of years ago

I want to take it up a notch, where I can create a search that will find pronouns used this way in connection with verbs whose subjects are in the 1st and 2nd person, so that the form of the personal pronoun (αὐτός or αὐτοὶ) would be translated intensively as "myself, ourselves, yourself, yourselves".

I would be very thankful for help you could give me.

I think you probably need some form of Syntax Search

Can you clarify this please? Do you mean when subjects are indicated by pronouns and these are in the 1st / 2nd person, or that the verbs are in the 1st / 2nd person or something else?

As far as I can see the you and yourselves are not linkedin the same phrase - with "the one who called you" and "yourselves be holy". Should this match in what you are looking for?

The best way I could find to illustrate to you (and to my students!) was to form a handout illustrating this use of the 3rd person personal pronoun, which could occur in any nominative form and an intensive. This came across my attention a week or so ago when in an advanced class, we found 1 Peter 1.15 where the meaning of the αὐτοὶ in the text is "yourselves". My student said, "but that is a 3rd person personal pronoun, not a 2nd person." He used Mounce in his first year of study, so we went to Mounce, BBG, chapter 12. The next week, we saw the same phenomenon in 1 Peter 2.5.

Tomorrow, I will look at chapter 12 of Köstenberger, Merkle, and Plummer on pronouns, prepositions, conjunctions, adverbs & particles. The list this category of pronouns as "Intensive Use."

I went through all the hits for the logos comand line search "@RP????P". It gave me some false hits on instances of the pronoun that were not Intensive Predicative (which is now included in the pronoun sub-type in the Morph search.

I created this document of the hits that I wanted to find, using the LEB.
