My favorite quote of Ellen White is:
But I do not ask you to take my words. Lay Sister White to one side. Do not quote my words again as long as you live until you can obey the Bible. When you make the Bible your food, your meat and your drink, when you make its principles the elements of your character, you will know better how to receive counsel from God. I exalt the precious Word before you today. Do not repeat what I have said, saying, "Sister White said this," and "Sister White said that." Find out what the Lord God of Israel says, and then do what He commands. Christ said, "I must work the works of Him that sent Me." {13MR 200.1}

If I put out a Book of the Day, I would say 'Reformed BOTD.'
I would be more comfortable if you said 'SDA Book OTD', as you do not work for FL. Or 'Lynden's BOTD.'
I initially thought your post was FL-official and site-wide, when it is not.

When I saw that it was under the SDA forums and no other forums, I assumed he was intending to recommend books to people interested in SDA books. If you put a book of the day under the reformed products forums and no other forums, I would assume you were promoting reformed products. I don’t see the confusion.

Perhaps you are sharper than I am. I believe this concept should be made clearer by poster.

The forums are broken down into several sub-forums. The title of the sub-forum describes what the intention of the forum is. Several of these are denomination based. Just to name a few, there one titled “Baptist Products”. Under that forum, it is intended that we discuss Baptist books and resources. Another one is titled “Jewish Products”. Under this forum it is intended to discuss Jewish products. The list goes on.
There have been many people promote different products under each of these forums, usually pre-pubs or suggestions for Logos to try and acquire the rights to them. I just looked under the Reformed forum and a couple of others, and none of them were labeled how you suggest.

Because it's labelled 'BOTD' it seems somewhere between official [FL] and quasi-official. That label has a little too much 'push' for me. A bit distasteful. But, I of course can ignore it, which would be all for the best.
